Well-Child & Adolescent Care – Screening & Immunizations
We care for children of all ages, from newborns to teens. The first exam for newborns should be done at two weeks old, or sooner if there are any concerns, like jaundice or weight problems. Parents are welcome to bring their newborns in for nurse visits to check weight gain and get help with breastfeeding.
After that, we see babies at two months, four months, six months, nine months, one year, 15 months, 18 months, two years, three years, four years, and five years. Between ages six and ten, we typically see children every one to two years. From grades seven to 12, we generally see kids once a year for sports physicals.
Children usually receive immunizations at two months, four months, six months, one year, 15 months, 18 months, five years, and again at 11-12 years.
We are available to see any child for health check-ups, illnesses, or urgent care needs.
