Melissa Erdmann is a compassionate and experienced family nurse practitioner who has dedicated the past 20 years to caring for individuals and families in our community. With a genuine love for family medicine, Melissa provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for every stage of life, from newborns to older adults.
Her journey began at the University of North Dakota, where she earned her undergraduate degree with honors. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Nursing at North Dakota State University, also graduating with high honors. As a registered nurse, Melissa’s experience in the NICU, PICU, pediatrics, and OB clinic shaped her nurturing approach to healthcare. In 2013, she was recognized with a State Award for Excellence by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, a testament to her dedication and expertise.
Since becoming an independent provider in 2007, Melissa has focused on building strong, lasting relationships with her patients. She founded Stellar Healthcare in 2011 to deliver proactive, whole-family care. From newborn wellness visits to adolescent check-ups, adult health management, and even early prenatal care, she ensures each patient receives the highest quality of attention and support. Melissa’s services span everything from preventive care, mental health support, and hormone management to acute illnesses and overall wellness guidance. Her greatest joy is helping people achieve and maintain their best health.
Melissa believes that every patient deserves to be heard and valued. She takes the time to listen deeply, understand concerns, and collaborate on personalized healthcare plans. With a proactive and thorough approach, she’s committed to finding answers and coordinating the best care possible for each of her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Melissa loves spending time with her family in Moorhead, where she lives with her husband. Together, they cherish moments with their two young adult children. Melissa’s hobbies include baking, cooking, staying active, enjoying lake days, traveling, attending concerts, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
